Soccer has impacted the world in multiple ways, for example, Soccer has impacted the world by empowering children and resolving conflicts. The sports world has been drastically affected by many sports and players over the years, but none have quite affected it in the positive way that soccer has.
A sport lasting only 90 minutes, has impacted the world in many ways such as helping children build relationships with a team and make new friends. Soccer also helps children in countries such as Ghana, express themselves. Soccer has even stopped wars for a short while. Though soccer has helped and stopped conflict it has also created conflict such as the 1969 “Soccer War”.
All and all soccer has greatly impacted the world by empowering children and resolving conflicts. For over two hundred years this game has been played all around the world. Being so simple, anyone can enjoy the game no matter their current situation. It has united rival countries such as Holland and Belgium, Japan and South Korea, and Greece and Turkey, and has even stopped wars for a little bit.
