NIkola Tesla was born in 1856. He was the man who adapted Ac electricity for everyday use, is credited with inventing the x-ray, and acquiring over 300 other patents in his lifetime. Though he was bit of a loner and could seem a bit crazy to the outside world, Tesla did have a few close friends such as Mark Twain. He was known for his brilliant demonstrations of his inventions. He was well kept and well liked. Tesla was an electrical engineer that made modern electricity possible and many other valuable inventions. Despite this large contributions to modern day, Tesla is rarely given the credit he deserves and is often glazed over by historians. That is why he is so important, it is crucial to remember and value those in the past for what they have done for the people of today.
